Full-Time Bilingual Client Support Specialist 

August 2026 

The LoSAH Center is a community mental health facility belonging to Expanded Mental Health Services of Chicago (EMHS). LoSAH seeks a full-time Bilingual (Spanish) Client Support Specialist who will serve as part of our administrative team. EMHS’ mission is to provide high-quality mental health care to residents on Chicago’s northwest side. The incoming Client Support Specialist will support the LoSAH Center of Hope located in Logan Square. This individual will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for clients and community partners. This position is ideal for a self-motivated person who can work with diverse populations, collaborate as a team member, and take a lead in problem-solving.   

Requirements 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare office setting. 

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English), spoken and written proficiency; required. 

  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred but not required. 

  • Computer, website, and social media experience; proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Word preferred 

  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 

  • Flexibility to provide occasional coverage at our other Chicago location based on staffing needs. 

The position is currently structured as follows: Client Care Services: 40% Administrative Operations: 25%; Marketing, Outreach, and Community Engagement: 20%; Facilities and Office Management: 15% 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing professional front desk support, confirming appointments, and maintaining a welcoming, therapeutic environment. 

  • Coordinate the initial client intake process, including eligibility verification, documentation collection, referrals, and onboarding into services. 

  • Manage scheduling, calendars, space coordination, and internal communications with clinicians to support efficient daily operations. 

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and HIPAA-compliant client records, including quality assurance and requests for records. 

  • Support billing operations by verifying insurance eligibility, processing client payments, and assisting with client billing communications. 

  • Support marketing and communications efforts, including social media, website updates, and designing outreach materials. 

  • Skilled in organizational planning and event coordination for community events, outreach activities, and fundraising campaigns. 

  • Track program data and outcomes, compile reports, and support evaluation efforts including surveys and annual reporting. 

  • Maintain office operations and facilities, including supplies, equipment, organization, and a clean, functional, clinical environment.
