Our History

The LoSAH Center of Hope/ LoSAH Centro de Esperanza is a program of Expanded Mental Health Services of Chicago NFP (EMHS). A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, EMHS was founded in 2010 by a group of mental health professionals and advocates who were concerned about an increasing shortage of accessible, quality community mental health services in Chicago. This group came together to develop innovative approaches to expand access to mental health services that reflect the needs and strengths of individuals, families, and communities receiving care.
